Privacy policy

How we handle the information trade buyers give us, and the rights you hold over it.

Last updated: August 2026

Who we are

CNLine is a trade supplier of mobile phone parts and general goods, operating from Unit 7, Mercury Trade Park, Argall Avenue, London E10 7QE, with sourcing and laboratory offices in Shenzhen, Yiwu, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Tokyo. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.

For any question about this policy, or to exercise the rights set out below, write to the London desk at the address above or use the contact details in the site footer.

What we collect

Enquiry and account data: the name, company, email address, telephone number and delivery address you give us when you request a catalogue, open a trade account, place an order or contact a desk.

Order and settlement data: the lines you order, quantities, prices, delivery route and the settlement method chosen. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our own systems.

Technical data: your IP address, browser type, approximate country and the pages you view. Country is used to show the right supply route first.

Why we use it

To quote, supply and deliver the goods you order; to operate returns and warranty claims; to keep the accounting, customs and tax records the law requires; and to answer your enquiries. Our lawful bases are the performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in running a trade supply business, and our legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies and local storage keep your basket, saved lists and language choice working; these cannot be switched off without breaking the site. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set after you accept them in the consent banner, and you can change that choice at any time from the banner link in the footer.

Who we share it with

Carriers and customs brokers, so goods can move and clear; our payment processor, to take settlement; our accountants and auditors; and our own overseas offices where they handle your sourcing or inspection. Each receives only what it needs for that task.

Where data reaches our offices outside the UK, it is transferred under the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law, including the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum where applicable.

How long we keep it

Order, invoice and customs records are kept for six years plus the current year, as UK tax law requires. Enquiries that do not lead to an account are deleted within twenty-four months. Technical logs are kept for twelve months.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, object to or restrict our use of it, and ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Write to the London desk and we will answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
