Will the plating wear off with regular wear?
With normal daily wear the plating is rated to hold its colour for twelve months or more before any thinning becomes visible, and it can be refreshed by re-plating rather than discarded.
Is it suitable for people with metal allergies?
The alloy is nickel free and passes standard skin contact testing, so it is comfortable for the great majority of wearers, though anyone with a diagnosed severe metal allergy should always patch test first.
Can it be worn in water or the shower?
Brief contact with water causes no harm, but prolonged soaking, swimming and hot showers will shorten plating life, so we recommend removing it before bathing or swimming.
